How does the content removal process work on DFS?
Content Guidelines
You may only upload content that features you and does not violate any applicable laws or regulations. You cannot upload content for commercial purposes or use our platform to advertise or promote any product or service. You are solely responsible for the content you upload, and we reserve the right to remove or delete any content that we deem to be in violation of these guidelines or otherwise inappropriate or objectionable.
Ownership and License
Subject to the limited license you grant us below, you retain all rights and ownership of your content. By uploading content to our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, perform, and create derivative works from your content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you and other users of our platform. You can revoke this license at any time by removing your content from our system or by contacting a support representative to do so. You may also set your content as public or private, or permanently delete it yourself.
Removal and Appeal Process
If you wish to have your content removed from our platform, please contact us using the form on our contact page. We guarantee the permanent deletion and removal of your content within 7 days. If, for any reason, we do not process your request, you may appeal to our support team. Appeals will be reviewed by an administrator within 96 hours.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our platform is located, without regard to any conflict of law principles.
Handling Complaints
We will take steps we deem appropriate to investigate your complaint within a suitable time frame based on the nature of the complaint. If we require more information or documentation from you, we will contact you. We will investigate your complaint diligently and resolve it within seven (7) business days. If we determine that the content in question is illegal or violates consent, we will promptly remove it and notify you of our decision via email or other electronic messages. If we determine that the content is not illegal or does not violate consent, we will notify you of our decision via email or other electronic messages.
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions, together with any additional guidelines or policies published by our platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of our platform and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or communications between you and us, whether written or oral.
